Vincent & Theo starts off like most family, yelling about money. Vincent started painting when he was 27 and so he decided to learn to paint among the workers class. I love the scene of Vincent visiting the art gallery of the Panoramic painting, its very foreshadowing. I starting to understand why this movie is about the two brothers because Theo very much played a big part in Vincent’s life. I now understand why Theo was so frustrated in life with his financial situation, wanting to marry, caring for his brother and being riddled with syphilis. Vincent who suffered from alcoholism, depression and so many health issues, is why these brothers were always suffering for their work. The score is terrible and at sometimes ruins scenes. Thou great for its time, it has feeling, but lacks the closeness of emotion. When Vincent descends into madness, I would of like more in depth, by hearing it and seeing it, instead of watching from a third person, experienced that journey with him.
